Both are expensive stuff, thus not really economical.What is your bio load? If its not too much, the bio balls and rings are good enough.

3ton of water maybe refering to tropical fish, koi/goldfish normally doubles that bioload.
added 1kg of biohome for fun into my 4ton to try.. no obvious advantage to what i see.. i rather go with biorings, lots of them. cheap also. |
