Perched high above my trellis a bird has made its home within my house overlooking the Ryukin pond.
Was wondering whether some of these idioms with bird as subject carry any truth in such a rare sighting. A bird in hand….certainly worth two in the bush Bird eye view….maybe they like to make their home overlooking such a tranquil setting with the sound of cascading water serenading the two lovebirds. Birds and bees:Looks like I don’t have to teach them what is to be expected Birds of a feather: Looks more like RG where all gather for a common interest…goldfish and not gold finch! Early bird catches the worm.More appropriately for those who rush down to view a new shipment of fishes are often rewarded with the best catch however unintentionally they make and meet their worst enemies! Kill two bird with one stone:I can see both bird and fish in a single visit and return to nature without an additional effort. Free as bird: Everybody’s dream not to be within a confinement to express and not suppress one's feelings which could depress any sound mind. Learn from the bird Your birdbrain, Doc |

ok before I proceed, some ornithology for your information
Bird Common Name:Olive backed sunbird,Yellow-breasted sunbird Scientific name:Nectarina Jugularis The Olive-backed Sunbird is very bold and often builds nests close to and even in human habitation (balconies, porches, corridors). Not surprisingly then, it is among the most common Sunbirds in this region. Sunbirds survive mainly on nectar, although they may snack on the occasional insect. Their nectar extraction equipment include: a long, slender, decurved bill with fine serration along the margins of both mandibles; and a tubular, deeply cleft tongue. Males are particularly territorial and may defend a good feeding site from other Sunbirds. It's about 2 weeks ago since I 've shown forum of the nest above my indoor pond. This morning a birdie was finally found Lastly I will show you how I went up close to the nest to"disturb"the nestling This is goldrush reporting high above for a documentary on sunbird habitat for National Goldgraphics ... |

Got mother to take care no need a nanny
Incidentally this bird feeds on nectar and small insects so bloodworm may not be their liking. The thought of chewing bloodworms and regurgitating the resultant vomitus for it to feed sends goose pimples and chills down my spine |
