Question : Green Water & Wall/carpet Algaes Same Effect?, Which one better?? Options

Just asking, Green Water And Wall / Carpet Algae both have same effect and protein to boost Wen?

If yes, why don go for wall / carpet algae since we can see our fish clearly anytime..
and also can dump it in pond with those Koi.
