this line of dragon eyes only produced in Malaysia. The eyes also smaller. China broad tail not like this, very much of a veil tail instead.

oh... ic ic
is it a popular breed? quite like the way it swims, like a lady in a long black dress...
the fun part is, I kept it in my black colour tub, it went on "stealth" mode, most of the time, .... black on black... can't even see her.... only time to realise her presence is when she swims above another goldfish...

popular becos cheap mah. small one only 2-5 bucks. 10cm size probably around 10-16. seldom see big ones as they will cost much more. Recall last year a batch priced around 30 each. the largest i saw was a 20cm size.

this line not easy to keep. all the finages rather weak and tends to fold easily, especially the dorsal. also as it grow larger, the eyes is not as elegant as the chinese lines.

but i must admit that this line is very black like the thai black.

Mountain, extreme slow growth rate if mix with aggressive fish. I kept a few till 18cm but not as beautiful as the thai black moor (can't find anymore) and the chinese lines (lagi hard to find 1).
