This is one of the fish I picked up at a fish show last week. What do you think?
This oranda has beautiful finnage, wide spread open. I wish the body would be rounder.
This fish's eye is 8% of it's total body length, as measured from the picture. (eye .6 cm, body, 8cm) and 20% of it's head length (3cm). In person, the fish has an approximate length of about 10 cm, not including the tail. This eye to body ratio, is actually less than the Giant ryukin owned by Goldrush, though the eye to head ratio is larger. Does this mean this fish has the potential to grow very large?
Personally, I like a high hump goldfish. It make it look complete during adult stage. You can try spirulina to see if it developed rounder.
i love the tail spread, but not the hump, abit too pronounced for its age.
it would be great if it has a slightly longer body
