This is the real specimen of a puffer fish though tongue.gif I guess there is no way to preserve its eye, that's why they use a faked plastic one.

That's the string that leads to a hook. It is meant to be hung as a decoration.

No spine leh. All the internal organs and stuffs removed already. Only the skin is left, and fins and tail. Skillfully preserved with a layer of lacquer for long keeping. But still smells a little. Like giam hee (salted fish) biggrin.gif
