Should give Mr Toh a call to check. I think the price should be cheap. I am organizing a trip to his farm on the 1st October 2006, Sunday from 2.30 pm onwards. Please e-mail me if you are interested to visit. I will be trying to arrange for transport if you do not drive. If you drive, you could also assist to "tumpang" those without transport. Plan is to visit 2 other goldfish farms one in LCK and another in Sungei Tengah Rd.

If I do no speak mandarin, is it still reccomended for me to go down there and choose the fishes? =/

I saw your thread at the other forum but im not free to go down on the 1st with you guys. And as im not chinese, it would be difficult for me to communicate with mr toh i think. Will be glad if you could check out with him for me when you guys do go down there.

What kind of goldfish you are looking for?

I just want to know the price ranges of the main types of goldfishes. Mainly, Im interested in the telescope, bubbleeyes, oranda and pearlscales. I'm looking for the smaller sizes of the various types above.

The farms that i went to in pasir ris had them at prices of ~$10, but since the above is a goldfish farm, I do not know what their price range is.

HN Lim, good of you to organise such a trip. I hope the rest of the hobbyists could have a good time visiting various farms around Singapore, maybe in near future, travel around the world to visit other farms and meet up with many hobbyists of the same interest.

I will be doing community work on the same day, introducing Goldfish keeping to the younger generation at Hong Lim Green CC. You are most welcome to drop by with your kids. I am please to extend the invitation to the rest of the hobbyists on the farm visit. Admission is free and there will not be any fish on sale.

Just talk. Children's Talk. That would spice up your farm tour isn't it ?

Do come before noon or after 1pm as the MP will be visiting between this period.
