Ok, I've never shown a fish before or had one that might be remotely good enough to show. I picked this fish up from a show a few days ago and I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to improve it as I'd like to try showing it next year.
It's about 3-4" at the moment.
Bought for £25/$50USD.
Can anyone pick out good and bad points for me?
I hope the pictures I'm providing are good enough.

50 USD is a lot to pay for this but from your posting of 25pounds my guess is that you are from Britain; so there isnt much you can do about it.

I would say that this tri-coloured dragoneye is good for UK / US standards giving the limited access to goldfish over there. However it may be better if the tail is a little more erect.

The pectoral and caudal fins looks a little large when compared to the body so there is a possibility that this piece may be a stunted; I hope I am wrong.

See how much it can grow and all the best in showing it next year.
