Hi miester, to properly take care of your fish make sure you do at least a 25% weekly water change as they are very dirty. Give them a mixed diet greens like peas are great for them. Also your tank is already over stocked as you figure its 10gallons per adult fish. So I wouldent put anymore fish in there. What I did is went out and got 2 55gallon drums and filled those with water so I can keep only a few fish in my show tank and swap them out every once in a while. There are plenty of sites that ship fish I dont know of any in your area but do a google search.

Oh ok than your fine your tank looks smaller in the photo. And I didnt see it written below. Very nice fish by the way. Just make sure you feed them a mixed variety of foods this will keep them healthy and beautiful.

Black Orandas are hard to come across I managed to find one hes my newest addition and is truly beautiful my favorite so far....Also Rain Garden out of Ohau Hawaii has very nice fish at good prices google them. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l287/johnp2152/P1170671.jpg

nice black oranda still looking looking for 1 here kinda hard to find .....
planning to make a fung shui tank 8 red gfs and 1 black goldfish all orandas

Why thankyou his black seems to be very stable as I have not really been to picky on not feeding his color enhancing foods like brine shrimp and whatnot. A fung shui tank would be very cool.

I've seen a few Feng Shui tanks. They are always way over-crowded. The black one is supposed to take up any bad luck entering the house and die. Sort of a sacrifical goldfish.

yes its true the black 1 will die if something happens (bad)... the black 1 will take the place of the owner if something happens (bad) thats why its nice to have a fung shui tank at home

this is a pic of the whole tank

Nice tank!! I'm a newbie too. I bought all my fishes at cartimar. Do you know where I can get some quality fishes in the Philippines?

Nice tank! Im planning to get myself a big one myself soon.

I'm also from the Philippines. Cartimar has got some good-quality goldfish, you just need to look hard, and select well. I was able to get a very handsome black oranda there, beautiful head growth and finnage. But i'm still looking out for places to get high-quality goldfish, ranchus in particular. There's this shop in metrowalk that has good ranchu stock, but kinda pricey.

I got 4 pretty handsome goldfishes too at Cartimar. One Oranda with pomppom, one ryukin (black calico with a tail that almost looks like its a veiltail), one black & orange moor and a 5.5 inch ranchu (yellow, orange, white). I learned from one petshop owner that you can order ranchus from their supplier (I assume fishes are from Taiwan). You can specify the prefered "look". Its going to be expensive however.
