Hi everyone!
My name is Gerline (you can forget that immediately) I'm 20 years old and I'm from the Netherlands. I decided to sign up here at Raffles after noticing the forum I usually go to for my 'goldfish trouble' has exceeded it's bandwith limit.. AGAIN. And in case of an emergency that just.. not very handy at all. I used to have two goldfish. A Red Cap (turning Lemon) Oranda named Bibi, who sadly passed away yesterday after a long fight against a case of dropsy that just wouldn't go away.  Leaving me with just one goldie named 'Bob', a Calico Fantail who is doing great so far, for which I'm very grateful as I must admit that.. when it comes to goldfish knowledge and ability to take care for them, I'm not the best pick of the litter so to speak.  For people who are curious. Bob is swimming alone in a 18 gallon tank. I use a 'Stingray' filter and an oxygen pump to keep the water clean and surface aggitated. I do a 70% waterchange twice a week, using a waterconditioner. I promise to post some pictures soon to show you guys the tank and the fishy inhibitant. I think this is about... the longest introduction I've ever written, so I'll stop here. And I hope to speak you guys and have a lot of fun on this forum.  (PS. I'm having fun with the emoticons, can you tell?) |
