Guys, anyone know where sells chin-up bars which i can mount at home??

Try royal sporting house or AIBI shops.

Careful thou, my fren once pulled and the thing gave way, lucky slight injury.

Queensway Shopping Centre has got quite a few sport equipment stores selling it.

The mounting part is very important... Better to use a drill to screw the 2 brackets securely, else like dom say the bar will drop. My friend also lazy never drill, it managed to stay up there for a few weeks before it dropped
If the bar itself never install on the brackets TIGHTLY, it will get loose over the years and the gripping will be so difficult you won't want to use it (excuses, excuses... )

Eh bro mountain, when i was training for my chin-ups, I force myself go to stadium nearby.
Everytime pull until muscles ache.

wa liao .. i hate you avatars .. they are disgusting ...

i actually had one .. i drilled the plug .. mounted it on a concrete wall instead of a wooden door frame .. train for a while with improvement and i was happily ever after.. until one fine day the rubber connector joining to the mounted plug torn and the bar gave way when i was hanging up there ..

bro domho7 .. i hate tampines stadium lei .. its out of my way .. walk also not correct .. take bus also not correct .. zzz tats why i nv go there to train..

i landed on my knees at the toilet kurb , lucky enuff i took extra precaution by placing a hugh pillow on the kerb .. if not .. .. ke ke ..

That's why I don't go to gym nowadays ah... (excuses, excuses)... the macho mary so muscular if want rape me I might not have the strength to fight back.. kah chng sure pit-chia one.

Chin-up bars still the best solution

When I 1st joined this xxxgym was alone, lonely & 'vulnerable'.

There's this group of 4 'machoman' asked me joined their group to WORK OUT.
eh when they worked out, they dont play play, really HOOT until max type.

But after about 2 workouts with them, realised they very girlish, every week, when they see me "Dom this week want to "WORK OUT WHICH PART AH"

After their training my Chin-up from 1, I can do 8 (less than 2 mths)
Its like nuturing your RANCHU in green water.

anyway, how did you wack until max?? i would do the 10 pulls of max weights i can lift.. then 2nd round out of gas ...

.... but got a bit of improvement here and there .. just did 100 push ups .. 5 reps of 20s .. with more then 10 mins rest!! hahaha...

These 'machomans' workout damn discipline, e.g, week 1 (mon), they work on chest muscles (work until can see cleavage, in hokkien 'PANG PUA LIAP'), On Wed work on bicpes, Fri work on Back muscles.......
After that Sauna, shower....
