tail portion is not bad
body wise, if the back issn't so humpy, and the curve starts abit later, would be better stomach looks as if kena langar from behind and compacted in front |

Back is humpy. Too high.
Peduncle (downside) is too long. Tail not pointed up enough. Probably too young to comment on the wens. But it looks like there is potential on its top wens. Hope you did not pay yoo much for this piece. |

I like the side profile of the tails although it can be a little more erect.
The fish's back profile is wrong. It's too high and the arch not of the right shape. I'm not too sure about the body joints at the tails; it seems the peduncle is of the right length and position but the tummy is either too forward or it's too small making the fish look unbalanced. I second the above Frankie's assessment on the wen but I wonder if you can send in another photo showing the cheeks? Finally, don't pay too much for a small fish. Those small ones at LFS are usually culls. Once in a while you may get lucky but it's unlikely to get a good catch. This one should costs less than $10 or at most $15. |

I have seen your post in AF. From the photo, the fish you show here is the worst of the lot. The first 2 fishes look better in photo.

QUOTE(Frankie @ Mon, 20 Sep 2004 6:39 pm) I have seen your post in AF. From the photo, the fish you show here is the worst of the lot. The first 2 fishes look better in photo. Ahahahaha. So now we know who owns this fish. Hi Chinmo! Yeah, I dragged myself over to AF to look at the other fishes. http://www.arofanatics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=146951 Unfortunately I cannot agree with the other me (quoted above) that the 2nd fish looks better. It's the worse of the lot. C'mon, there's a serious kinked on its back near the tails joint which will restrict this fish's maximum growth. Are you that same "KID" who commented it having a nice hump? It does not lah, silly boy.. but your new little 2ft tank rocks, or should I say, pimpjuice my man! Chinmo... goldfish's colour pattern will change over time. If you based your selection on this criteria, you will be disappointed in no time. So don't hor. |

Curious.
Chimo, mind telling using how much you pay for the fishes and from which LFS? |

To me,this fish definately worth more than 15 bucks.
And definately not the type of culls you get for 5 bucks at LFS. I like the arch, but the downside is that it tends to limit the lenght of the fish as it grows.A gentler arch,or one that starts later from the head, has more potential for growth later. |
