Why does this ranchu reminds me of "wee yap" bloodline?
Nice looking tails (patterns) but the curved back is too drastic making the ranchu appear to have a rectangular box with rounded corner. The scales are quite neat and plesant looking. Does it swim level or does it always look like a sprinter ready to take off? |

The only good thing about this fish is it's smooth curvature.
The tail is not pointed (if you rotate the pic to see the fish at horizontal level). Not much headgrowth so please improve on it. The horizontal axis of this fish suggest that it cannot swim in an upright posture. "Anal fins are not exposed" is NOT a criteria for a SideView ranchu. But of course anal fins growing outside the tail is a major defect. Overall not a very good speciment, but I won't say it is lousy. |

And yes,it does always look like a sprinter. |
