hi all the bro here. i got sumthin which is very confuss.. why my goldfish shit always floating on top of the water. and i did chck with my friend. his goldfish shit was sinking. isit sumthin to do with the food? or sumthin to do with the KH lever. my KH lever was lever 5 nw. i use hikari oranda gold, hikari lionhead and ranchu lord to feed them. isist because i use pallet to feed them that way their shit was floating? or my KH problem. pls give some to me.. thanks...

Hi Lester,

Based on your report.
Could it be too much salt in your water,that caused the poos to float.
We have to check one thing at a time.

Just an advise.

It has to do with the type of pellets that you feed your fishes. I usually feed my fishes with Hikari and JRL. It's only when I feed floating pellets (rarely but I do) that I see floating poos on my water. As Choco explained, it could be due to the fishes swallowing some air when they are gasping for the floating food. This is nothing to be alarmed about. wink.gif
