1st fish:
The fish seems to be about to make a turn when you took the photo. The angle is not right. Can you take a better picture of the side view profile? The tail looks a bit strange to me. Is it caved it? 2nd fish: In terms of curvature, this is your best of 3. The tail not being pointed enough, is a big minus. 3rd fish: The kink at the end of body will become more obvious as the fish grows. Tail also has bad angle. Avoid buying such fish in future. |

After looking at the other thread in defining lionchu and ranchu, how could mine be lionchu. Lionchu tend to have a straight body, and if mine is consider lionchu, most ppl would also be having lionchu. |

I think you got the lionchu and lionhead mixed up.Pls read the two threads carefully over and over again. We are talking ranchu, lionchu and lionhead.3 categories. |

My take is 2nd,1st then 3rd.
1st fish has good tail angle but tail is too big and higher than back. 2nd fish tail not pointed enough, but at least its smaller compared to 1st fish. Curvature of 1st and 2nd are OK,though the 1st is steeper than the 2nd it is up to individual preference. |
