This is a very beautiful ranchu. Nothing I can criticize about it. The curve is nice and it has neat scales. Nice colouration too!
I would prefer a more straight tail tip. |

it has been a long time a fine specimen like this pop up.
nothing to complain abt. only thing is the belly faded black, if it turn golden , it is even better. |

Thanks for the reply. Sorry for replying late - just get back from vacation.
The belly is not faded at all, it is golden. Must be the shadow when taking the picture. I will take the newest picture hopefully tomorrow. The ranchu has turned to all yellow. No trace of black. Regards. |

Kind of disappointed to hear that I was thinking the traces of black on the tail is what make this fish exotic! But it is still a very nice fish nonetheless.
The blackness of the eyes should not fade. |

Wow, have not seen a good specimen SVR for quite some time. The swimming posture is excellant, provided that it remains this horizontal all the time.

This is the latest photos. Yes, the eyes still retain some black. Can someone tell the genetic color of this ranchu? I thought I breed it from red and red white parents, but I kind of wondering if my black ranchu contribute to this. Because it takes a long time for the black color to vanish.
