Come come, I believe whenever a misunderstanding arises, differences ought to be cleared asap. Else it will surely snow-ball.

You see ah, in these 2 instances, response members have to your posts were taken as personal attack. How come ah? Come, tell us why you think that way.

I take it that you are either denying my PM or just did not receive it as I did not get any reply from you. That means???

Pls read carefully the above threads with the comments posted by other members prior to my reply. Read it without any one sided intentions. Enough said, PM me the rest.

What PM? rusure.gif

Anyway, that's a strange way of thinking. I have communicated with members via PM numerous times. So do I have to keep replying to and fro non-stop in order not to make the other party think that I have "hidden agenda towards" him/her? wacko.gif It will be very narrow-minded of me to think that way if I were to write to a member and he failed to reply or something.

I just want to know why are you reacting so negatively towards response to your posts by members including myself in the above 2 incidents. I started this topic so that we can have an open discussion. Yes I could have handled this via PM but given several failures to this method prior to this, I guess I do not want to handle it that way anymore. On top of that, I do not want members of this forum to think that there was some unknown arguments between you and any member of this board. Nor I do not want other members to think that there is some kind of politics going on here.

I feel that there are some understandings needed here. Rest assure that your posts will not be edited.

No lah, I think you may have misundersood or are not used to this forum and I've read the 2 threads above; from time to time (though less so now) there are lively fiery debates that take place, not meant as personal attacks. I should know as some of the exchanges/replies to my early posts are much more fiery than that you've received smile.gif

We all have the same passion of goldfish keeping right? Why argue or claim that it is negative??

As for me, for those who got years of experience should have their ego in-check without blasting new/learning hobbyists. Having such experience, you should be able to be more patient & passionate to teach new goldfish lovers.

Being humble gathers friends worldwide. Teaching patiently gathers more goldfish passionate keepers.....I would love to see that happening.....

teaching ? i leave that to professional teachers.

passion cannot be taught and experience is self-attained.

negative arguement open up the gap and widen the scope. without such, there is never a discussion. rather, so to speak, merely information dissemination.

now that's positive.

believe it or not.

I read above 2 threads and I don't see who is arguing or claiming goldfish keeping is negative. Also, I don't see any blasting of new/learning hobbyists. I see 1 thread is in chit chat thread and the other thread having debates.

Hi all,

everyone has/had their own way/technic/method/claims/calculation/imagination/tested/theory/practical/support/rules/equation .... etc for advice/feedback to hobbist out there.

what i can achieved, you may or maynot be able to achieved even in-detail is given, no right or wrong, is just up to individual to respect each other ways of contribution to the forum.

or what you may achieved, i may not be able to do it.

every action done, there is always an opposite reaction. just see the situation and adapt to it, no point make enemy here and there.

"ren yi shi, fong ping lang jin. tui yi pu, hai kua tian kong."

BUT ....

there is always a BUT .... if the person who find it "buay song" and is the MOD/Admin of the forum, than LL.

any advice given is an knowledge learnt.

CHeers..

From a casual observer's point of view:

chochiss - I have read the posts and you suddenly came out from no where and let go your bomb.

Later on, you try to sound clever and all but it was a little too late.

If I were you, I will go sit in a corner and suck my thumb and reflect on my own stupidity.

OK we'll do it step by step:

Case A:
http://www.rafflesgold.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4655

#1 - #4
Some questions on H2O2 asked although I believe the discussion is posted in the wrong section.

#5
So you ask why RG slow in activity

#6
CP says dunno what you mean

#7
You replied RG got no postings

#8
Doc with a wise reply to why RG is appear dormant at times.

#9
Wassup with the hostility???

Now this caught many of us by surprise.... Whose posts is hostile?

#10
Relax ar......unless there's hidden intention towards specific ppl....

Tried to round the sharp ends with "Relax ar" but the next sentence is even more absurd. Why do you think that there's some hidden agenda against "specific pp"... which I interprete to be yourself?

#11 - onwards

Everyone sweats.
And there was no explanation given although I prompted you 2 times. If someone from this forum is threatening you via other form of communication then you've got to let us know so we can handle him/her.

Case #2:
http://www.rafflesgold.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4652

The issue was whether Koi and goldfish can breed. Before I saw doctor's reply and the Koi-Comet hybrid pictures from Dr Eriksson's site, I had this old-school science belief that Koi and Goldfish can never breed.

You proposed that the fish could be a koi-pearlscales hybrid but my conventional science told me that it is impossible. I have seen Koi eggs before and they are so different from from goldfish eggs. It does not sound logical to me that these 2 species can breed in any way.... until I see the pictures for myself, of course.

My replies were based on my old-school science. So my question was how my replies sounded like personal attack against you?
