Hi... hi.gif
i have some question about paste food...

Is it will polute the tank like egg yolk?worried.gif
How about the proportion of ingredients for this?
Do we cook the paste first? or just mix all the ingredients with an egg and give it to gfs?

Thx Before... peace.gif

ok perhaps the misnomer pastefood sounds like the food is being processed to a paste consistency(like tooth paste)which is not.I make it into a dough like just before you bake your bread.Choose a base food of choice(growth, basic or watever)and grind it to a powder then add your other ingredients to supplement or enhance your diet(it can be Vit C,multivits, medication, honey, juice etc)Bind this with a freshly beaten egg and bind the powder to it and this is wat you get.A nice dough with some kneading and practice laugh.gif

There is NO COOKING OR HEATING AT ALL

Store this in the refrigerator for up to a week

Each feeding you just need to pinch amount to be fed

knead it to pellet size of choice to suit the size of your fish

A well done dough DOES NOT STICK TO YOUR HANDS but allow you to knead to small pellets without much fuzz....You kneed to practice on this wacko.gif

hi.gif As a binder, you can either use a few eggs, agar agar, or gelatine. Blend all your ingredients such pellets, steamed fish/prawn, veggies, wheatgerm, dog vitamins etc...in a blender then steam for 10mins, allow to cool, then cut to cube size of your choice, store either in fridge or freezer depending on the number of fish you have or life style. If in fridge must consume within a week, freezer maybe about 3 weeks or slightly more for freshness. If put in freezer, just allow about 1/2 hr to thaw first before feeding. This is called gelatine fish food.
Cheers.
