Greenwater comes from an algae bloom in the water. Greenwater is highly beneficial to goldfish for many, many reasons. Greenwater's drawback is the fact that is makes it difficult to see the fish.

Greenwater consumes all waste matter produced by the fish. It also provides a continuous diet of algae. You can expect healthier, more colorful fish from greenwater.

You should search some of the greenwater topics on this forum and you will learn much more about the specifics of it.
