Hi all,

Name's Wilson, was from singapore but left for melb 10 yrs ago. Was introduced to this site via a friend who recently got into the hobby and have 2 ranchu. As for me, I have 2 tanks, 3ft and 2ft, both tropical currently. Had 2 tanks of goldfishes before until an unfortunate power blackout kinda killed them all in mid summer with 40 degrees temp. Came home from work and found most except a couple, dead. Got really sad and decided its the end for goldfish for now.

After seeing my pal's ranchu, and reading this forum, it reignite my passion and have began setting my 2 ft just for a couple of ryukins. Gonna get them small as its really pricey here in aus in comparison to singapore.

So, wish me luck on my future endeavor.... will try to post pics if possible....

cheers

Thanks!! Where about are you? There's definitely a demand for this hobby, but mainly tropical and marine, fancy goldfish not too many. The problem is to find a good reliable LFS where their water and goldfish quality are top notch. I just purchased 2 red white ryukin today, about 2 inches size, was driving around the past few days from one LFS to another. Basically went to upmarket aquarium QV market, then to Coburg aquarium, then to St Kilda Aquarium, and finally to New life in Richmond. I must say, the boss is really easy to deal with and his goldfish are pretty good. Gave me a discount as well.

Any other suggestions on which LFS is good??
