I got a new tank and I am building a stand to save money I got some plans from www.garf.org DIY areaIPB ImageI started with some lumber I bought at lowes.Lowes will even cut the lumber at some locations I cut my own here is the frame all cut

The mini Kregg jig makes screwing the wood together easy and it is strong

Here is the top and bottom frame

Next I put the uprights in and the top and bottom shelf

Nice good_very.gif

However, suggest you put a piece of styrofoam (at least 1/2 inch thick) on stand before placing your tank; for even weight distribution.
