Hi everybody, here is a question for any Tosakin breeders / keepers out there. I have several young fish currently in about 4 inches of water in a 2 foot diameter round tub with small sponge filters, regular water changes. I am worried this is too big and could affect tail development, swimming etc. Would it be better to split them up into smaller bowls of 2 or 3 fish. I could get clay bowls from a garden centre and seal them with pond sealant, or large plastic mixing bowls.
Any comments or suggestions really welcome Best wishes Richard |

Hi,
I think it is still ok but when the fish grown up you should separate them. I suggest you to keep max 2 fish in that bowl, no filter needed, just an air line and regular water change will do. Hope it helps. |
