Full Version: Fake Chroma?
RafflesGold Forums > Discussion Area > Fancy Goldfish
Last month bought 2 packs of Chroma from a popular LFS in Bedok,$4.40 each instead of the usual $5.50.
I have a habit of smelling fish food tongue.gif and I can the you the smells of Chroma,Hikari or Superfin blindfolded.
Anyway, few days back opened the first pack and boy, this Chroma smells funny.Instead of the usual pleasant smell, this pack is akin to the smell of "coconut oil".However, fed to my darlings anyway and they devoured them without any problems.
Checked the packaging and found nothing unusual, though the expiry dates were never printed.Cant remember whether my previous packs carry expiry dates.

Do any fellow brothers who have bought from the said source have the same experience?
Gee... I have one pack and it was bought from that same "favourite LFS in Bedok North" too. No expiry date printed also no.gif

I have this funny idea that if Chi** were to repack fish food (for eg, Hikari Lionhead), they might get some staffs to eat lots of prawns and take their faeces out in the sun to dry... and then use machines to process them into pellet size and pack into nice authentic packet-bags.... The fish may still eat... who knows? biggrin.gif Got that idea after seeing so many times on news of some unethical people did to human food... you know, those "black-hearted food" (黑心食物) hmm.gif
dun think so lah......mine seems to be ok.....
i still have one unopened pack....
