I just chance upon the following....

Can anyone do the translation? I sort of understand most of it but can't quite translate it. sad.gif

  第3组、狮头综合组

  第7组、红虎头(寿星)+红白虎头
  第8组、红顶白蛋虎头(鹅头红)
  第9组、虎头综合组
  第10组、水泡眼+朝天眼(望天)
  第11组、红琉金+红白琉金

  第14组、珍珠鳞组

  二、评分原则(总分200分)
  (一) 体型(35分)
  1、 鱼体均衡、对称、肥度适中(20分)
  2、 鳞片完整无损,有光泽,排列整齐,无再生鳞(15分)
  (二) 颜色(50分)
  1、 颜色纯正鲜明(20分)
  2、 色彩均匀有规律(10分)
  3、 有特色(10分)
  4、 色泽光润(10分)
  (三) 姿态(20分)
  1、 游姿优美(6分)
  2、 活动时鳍条伸展自如(6分)
  3、 静伏时身体平稳,沉浮自如(4分)
  4、 双眼明亮有神(4分)
  (四) 特征(50分)
  珍珠鳞:珍珠鳞粗大、凸起,自背脊至腹部及尾柄鳞整齐,无杂鳞,头小嘴尖,尾柄粗状,体膨圆,但皇冠珍珠头顶肉瘤要隆起丰满。
  水泡:泡圆大,左右对称,蛋形,背部圆滑,呈弓形;体短尾柄粗,两眼方向正常。
  虎头:头部或头顶肉瘤隆起发达,无赘肉松离现象,吻齐平,北部弓形光滑,鱼体均衡。
  狮子头、高头:头部或头顶肉瘤丰满厚实,呈菊花形、帽子形、蘑菇形,有弹性,身体短粗,背鳍整齐挺拔,尾鳍长宽舒展。
  红顶白高头(鹤顶红)全身洁白莹亮,头顶肉瘤鲜红方正,鳃盖平滑或肉瘤发达,背鳍整齐挺拔,尾鳍长宽舒展。
  龙睛:两眼圆大,突出,对称,体形匀称,背鳍整齐挺拔,尾鳍长宽舒展。
  蝶尾:尾鳍宽大,蝶形明显,体形短而圆,游动时鱼体均匀平稳。
  绒球:球体圆大,左右对称,球花致密,与体异色或同色,其它特征与有关品种特征相同。
  望天眼:两眼圆大,朝天,翻转平整,左右对称,体短粗壮。
  兰畴:头部肉瘤发达,体形粗壮,背部光滑,肌肉发达有力,背后部向下弯曲呈弓形,尾鳍展开向上翘起,角度适中,具双臀鳍。
  琉金:头小吻尖,体短腹圆,背脊高隆,略呈三角形,背鳍挺拔。
  鲫鱼:色彩丰富,颜色鲜艳。
  (五) 尾鳍和其它各鳍(30分)
  1、 各鳍大小及匀称程度和完整性[包括尾、胸、腹、臀、背鳍(无背鳍种例外)](20分)
  2、 各鳍完整、舒展、无卷折、尾鳍对称、夹角合理(10分)
  (六) 附加分(15分)
  特别之处、大小、新品种、整体印象、生长潜力等。

      • Equal, Balance, Not too Fat/Skinny - 20 points
      • No Missing Scales, Shiny Scales, Neatly Arranges Scales, No Re-generated Scales - 15 points
    • Color (50 points)
      • Pure and Bright - 20 points
      • Even and Regular - 10 points
    • Grace (20 points)
      • Swims Gracefully - 6 points
      • Fins moves Freely when Active - 6 points
      • Rest calmly with Balanced Buoyancy - 4 points
      • Bright Eyes - 4 points
    • Special Characteristics (50 points)
      • Pearlscales - Large evenly spread protruding pearls, no excess scales, small head, pointy mouth, thick tails, round puffy body. High crown for crown pearls.
      • Bubble Eyes - Large balance egg-shaped bubbles, smooth curved back, short body, thick tails, direction of eyes normal.
      • Lionhead - Large even headgrowth/cap, no lose wen, curved smooth back, balanced body
      • Oranda - Large headgrowth, cap resembles chrysanthemum flower, hat, or mushroom, with tenacity, short body, even scales, long broad tails.
      • Red Cap Oranda - as above plus pure white body, red cap is perfect square/rectangular, smooth side-wen.
      • Dragon eyes - Big rounded balance protruding eyes. Balance body, neat finage, long, broad and open tails.
      • Butterfly Demekin - Broad tails of obvious butterfly shape, short rounded body, swims gracefully.
      • Pom poms - Big balance tightly weaved pom pom of same or different colour as body, plus characteristics of its actual variety.
      • Celestial eyes - Round equal-sized skyward looking eyes that move in sync, short strong body.
      • Ranchu - Big headgrowth, rugged smooth curved body with powerful muscles. Upward lifted tails of nice angle, two anal fins.
      • Ryukin - Small head, pointy mouth, short body, rounded tummy, tall humped back, triangular side-profile, erect dorsal fin.
      • Single Caudal Goldfish - Vibrantly colourful.
    • Tails and other Finage (30 points)
      • Complete, balance and optimal size of all fins - 20 points
      • All fins complete, open, no bend, balance, good angle - 10 points
    • Extra Points awarded (15 points)
      • Special features, size, new variety, overall impression, growth potential

    Remember the attached diagram? I wonder if I can put it up in full; surely it is copyrighted by the author and my translation could infringe on his rights? Any idea who published it and if i can seek permission?

    Wow.. so many rules for top view ah? What about side view? i can only appreciate side view... hehehe... anyway, thanks for this info... good.gif

    keke. That's not "rules" per se but a guide on how to look out for imperfection on top-view ranchus. Many of the pointers apply to goldfish in general too.

    Yeah,I remember the diagram, I don't remember where it came from. Not sure though about copyright, but I think it should be fine because we are not altering anything. I think there are more than this, do you still have the rest ?
