Hello Matrix,

It is not very wise to write : "Noone else in the world beats them". This is your opinion, but I am sure many people have an other opinion. It is all a matter of taste, priorities etc.

hmm... considering how fast new varients are stabilized, extend of mutation, resilience of varients, the chinese are very good.. after all.. originated from china.

Few would agree with you on what you have posted on Sino goldfish.True the amount of physical traits and color variants you can breed into them are limitless since the goldfish is a mutant to begin with. But to be able to appreciate and accept such new breeds takes a considerable and formidable task for the breeder as well as potential enthusiasts to agree upon their aceptable appearances.I have seen a kyphosis stricken(hunch back)arowana branded as a rare and priceless specimen which to many would be considered a reject but cleverly exhibited as a rare find to confuse some uninitated hobbyists! Beauty to many may be more than what meets the eyes...I guess. Thanks for showing us some Brownies.. good_very.gif

In term of color variation, it's brown in english term. but chinese use the word "ZI" or direct translated as purple. Why is it Purple? Actual fish should have a purplish shine on them when view under good lighting. Photo will never show this shine.

However, as newer color variation coming out in the next couple of months, I doubt they will use the purple on this type of color anymore. Anyway, the chinese still control the naming of fish. We just follow lor.

Doc, brown fish is in demand some years back. Here in this small island, we are far behind the real world. I remembered I got my 1st brown 2 yrs ago and only months later then many would see them in the market.

U did wrote something interesting. But I'm not going to move into that area of discussion. Ponder over it, I will.

Yah. Saw their bubble eye. Nice and fat with relatively shorter body which I prefer. I also have space constraint. Will only buy when I cannot resist the temptation for the time being. dntknw.gif:

Prepare for the new arrival ...

Albino Goldfish on the way ... Finally wenyu got albino variety. Red eyes is not new to goldfish. Some years back, dragon eyes variety already have it. But price is way too high and unstable lineage.

Anger feeds hatred
Hatred breeds further hatred
