I want to look for some comments/info about double humps in Ryukins.

When I was a little boy - the guy at Macho Ranchu (aiyah now you all know I so old!) explain to me before Ryukin best quality is double hump.

The way he explain to me was that sometimes Ryukins got an extra curve just before the dorsal fin starts. So there is the first hump just above the head and the second hump on top of that.

But from what I understand nowadays about judging criteria, actually ryukin back is better to just have a smooth curve. If got double hump it would be like a 'kink'.

Any comments about this? Or is it just a Japanese fish thing? Or maybe I just small boy got bluff! blush.gif
