Full Version: Ryukins Are Aggressive?
RafflesGold Forums > Discussion Area > Fancy Goldfish
hmm.gif One of my short tail ryukin has attacked my pearlscale, and eat both of its eyes... damn it!! now my one and only pearly is blind... mad.gif I didn't know that ryukins are so aggressive... ohmy.gif
Ryukins are generally more aggressive compared to other goldfish like ranchu. They are not arowana kind of aggressiveness; just a tab more bullier then others especially when they out-size their tank mates.

The problem really lies on Pearlscales. It's said that they're best kept in their own tank. They swim slow and eat slow too thereby requiring an entirely different set of rules for their tank setup. biggrin.gif
what about moors? can they be mixed with ryukins? let's say same sizes... unsure.gif
2 ryukins or more shouldn't be mix with any other kinds of goldfish.. except.. comets? tongue.gif
