Oranda is rather hardy and not as demanding as other goldfish species. Any goldfish food would be good enough. Remember to quarantine your new fishes before introducing to your main aquarium.

hi disireless~ thanxs for the info it is very useful i have discovered that both of my oranda's are females both filled with roe too thinking.gif is it possible that the gold colored oranda is part lionhead and Tyakin as it has the body structure of the tyakin from pics that i have seen and the growth on its head like a lionhead hmmm i dunno i am just assuming though but if it is then it is a beautiful mix
