Hi! Recently my ranchus have started to "bite" at the surface of the water quite frequently. I doubt it could be because there's not enough oxygen because i run an air stone in there. Could it just be that they are biting at the bubbles? They swim and eat happily and healthy. just when i dont feed them or when i'm not close to the side of tank they seem to swarm to the top and gulp away.
desireless
The fish is gasping for more oxygen. Aerate your tank. And use those fine air stone as it ensures better oxygen dissolving
