Hope that the WC you mentioned is water change and not water closet(Toilet) hysterical.gif

I don't know about others but my practice is every week 1 time 100% change and after refill with tap water, I add 3 in 1 kind of water treatment which includes AC, AB, AF. (U guess what it is? nananana.gif )

U need procedure huh? Ok, as follow

1) pump out some water from the main tub to fill up a temp tub.
2) transfer all my fishes out and into the temp tub
3) put in an air stone inside the temp tub
4) Continue to pump out the water out from the main tub
5) use a super absorber spong to suck up the remaining water.
6) refill the main tub with tap water.
7) Add in my 3 in 1 water treatment.
8) Activate my Bio spong filter
9) Wait for about 15min
10) Transfer the fishes back to the main tub.

what brand of 3 in 1 water treatment do you add?and do i need to add other stuff like clear water or salt?and must the water be 1 or 2days old before i add??
chochiss
pump in water then only add solution is by far too risky for me. usually to be safer, put in anti-clorine before re-filling fresh water.
desireless
If you already have a cycled tank, then just anti-chlorine and Sodium BiCarbonate (no need if you already have coral chips).

Here's a trick to prevent shock after water change:
