Ops tongue.gif I just realised that "old bird" is not an international term biggrin.gif

Anyway Kingyoo, it means "old timer" or "pioneer member". Many of our old timers have given up on this hobby. unsure.gif I am glad to know that you're still into goldfish good.gif Welcome back! hi.gif

Hehe.... I knew what you meant, I was just teasing. Given that I just had another birthday I think old bird is a true term for me.

I have not given up the hobby. But have downsized by not replacing those who have joined the golden pond up in the sky.

It is interesting to note that those of my fish that have lived outdoors (green water)these past 4 plus years are still alive. Those that lived in my indoor tanks have perished. My oldest 4 years old 10 inch oranda just died last week.

Indoor fish only consist of 1 black ranchu and 1 red ranchu in the indoor pond. 1 red and white ryukin in 90 gl show tank.

I have a lot of empty tanks in my fish room now. Just thinking and thinking........

I am visiting Hawaii next week, maybe I visit Bekko at his fish gardens and get inspired. Can we fly with fish on my lap?

Thanks for a nice welcome back. I see some familiar names and lots of new names. It's good to see more serious goldfish keepers
