yup....mountain is right...
the 2nd fish is better....
pump the fish after quarantine and post pic again.....
mountain
not that the first fish is not nice, but your camera flash is too near , the fish looks brighter then my CRAquarium Lamps rolleyes.gif

the 1st fish arch is not as smooth as the 2nd fish...
also the tail seat angle of the 1st fish is too steep....

in terms of scaling, the 1st fish is finer.... good.gif

Wow.. Like both fishes.. May I know where you bought it frm Bro??

How much??

IMHO, the first is better. There is something wrong with the backarch of the 2nd fish when it joined with the tail, instead of joining smoothly, it turned further inward causing the tail to looks too low and odd.
For the 1st fish, although the arch is not as smooth, but the angle between back and tail, I think is better.

More clear on this picture.....

But then, both fishes considered very good buy already. good.gif

I certainly go for the first fish, minor kink on the top is quite acceptable & the angle between the caudal peduncle & the caudal fin is better than the second, colour is good too. You can,t afterall have a made to measure fish.

Not forgetting good fish is also judge by it swimming characteristic.

Both fishes are very nice but I like the first one better. I prefer this type of curve and the colour also very nice and bright (maybe it is because of the way you took the pic tongue.gif ).

Good buy or not... depends on how much you pay for them... wink.gif
How much you spend on both?

hheheh... the 3rd fish was the cheapest of the lot..... no other hidden defects abt 4"

Personally, I like the 1st fish most. I would consider it one of my all time favourite. I like a fish with the high back and ridiculously big buffalo cheeks...wahahahhah.... just my personal preference lah tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

with reference to 1st fish's high back, will they develope balance problems or short swimming burst patterns when they grow older?

The pics look fine now but I have colour corrected them for you. Somehow they all had a green (or maybe it was yellow?) tint. I don't know why they are so but maybe you didn't adjust the white balance?

Why are the fishes hanging so near the floor? biggrin.gif Are they in shock (pH or maybe temp)? Use water form their home tank. wink.gif

The water is from their home tank ..hehhehe just that the water level is low,... so that they have lesser space to swim around so than I can take a good shot tongue.gif..

The White balance have been set to Auto... so I guess it isn;t doing a good job tongue.gif

Domho, are you keeping your fishes in a foam box?
have anyone experienced keeping goldfish in foam box? because i have a lot, if it is usable, then great, saves money.
