Hi everyone,
I kept goldfish 4 years ago and just started again. After a trip to Rainbow, I realised that ranchus are very different now. 4 years ago, ranchus do not have much headgrowth. large headgrowth is a lionhead characteristic not ranchu. Back then, lionheads do not do not have the curved backs and tail tuck like ranchus. Have they combined the two breeds or something? or have the modern ranchu evolved? haha...back then, I never saw anything called a top view or side view ranchu. Either way, the modern ranchu looks better hehe...!! |

Lionhead is lionhead, ranchu is ranchu.The difference here:
