hi.gif I am fine thank you and my fish are fine and ready to go

Your fish looks good in every aspect
This I have to say with due respect
Its black is of the darkest coal
Its back is thick and awesomely bold
Length looks very close to nine
How I wish this piece could be mine
A good size of proportion and mass
If it doesn't win you can kick my ass....

sleazy.gif yeah you told me about your entry before at Sam's.(dont recall you have a black ranchu at all)

The poem is written I hope without intent of sarcasm
But with abit of motivation and inject with some enthusiasm
Forum needs some form of elixir to invigorate
Without which,it cannot progress but only degenerate.

No prob doc! I'm always a big fan of your poems. Adds a light-hearted tone to the forum.
That's how fish-keeping should be. good_very.gif

I'll try to do up some kind of online visual/video diary for Aquarama from the initial days of grooming my fish, leading to the day of bench-in and finally to the final day bench-out.

It will definitely be a beautiful experience and fruitful journey that we all can learn and share. yes.gif

TODAY'S AQUARAMA JOKE OF THE DAY

A world renowned neurologist is giving a seminar to a group of doctors about involuntary muscular contractions. He goes on to explain that there are many muscles in our body are reacting involuntarily of each other and without us even knowing. He senses the class is becoming bored with his speech, so he tries to lighten it up a bit by asking a woman doctor in the front row, “You probably have no idea what your asshole is doing next week when you have an orgasm . She smiled sheepishly and replied, “ I know exactly what he’is doing, he’is out at Aquarama with some goldfish friends

Arguably the best goldfish producers of the world. Most of the past winners are bred from here

As Master Alvin of VGC appropriately put it and I quote

" No Tunghoi fish participating in Aquarama is like a bottle
missing the cork and the wine become tasteless."

Can there be an upset? wacko.gif

I thought keeping goldfish is a form of destress but not a time of distress

It's a headache when what you submitted may no longer be available
Accidents happen or the fish may now be disable
Another one may bite the dust
Others may just reduce to rust
Scrambling to find replacement is no easy task
Even if you search from early dawn to late late dusk.........

I think another point to add:

House your fish in a conditioning glass tank where there's more exposure to human movement.
As there's high human traffic at Aquarama, your fish might be stressed out if it's not used to the sudden influx of noise and movement.

I hope parents can also control their kids and prevent them from hitting/banging on the glass tanks. wacko.gif

Hey this is the last weekend before Aquarama and only two days more before benching in.Are you all excited?Incidentally today is BPL's survival Sunday where teams fight their socks out to avoid relegation from the lucrative premier league.2 days time maybe benching in for us but the night after, football fanatics will gather to watch the Champion League final,so it looks like it gonna be a very eventful and exciting week if you are both a fish and football fanatics.Since I am into both ,I take this opportunity to get the football coaches to say something about how they gonna play in this Aquarama and come up with a gameplan to outdo each other in this competition.

Goldrush:Sir Alex what strategy would you adopt in a competition as competitive as this Aquarama goldfish competition

Alex Ferguson:I think your strike force must produce imitators like Ronaldo who can make dramatic dives to gain crucial points through undeserving penalties.Likewise your strike force must pretend to make good with your opponent fish and do an unscrupulous drive into the opponents housing bags during benching in and hope the fish does not come out good after the trauma.

Goldrush:What about you Arsene Venger

Aseneno.gif I am not as "jian" as Alex.Probably I will deploy my prolific Andrei Ashavin to poke 4 holes (like he scored all 4 goals against Liverpool)into the opponent's bags to ensure total annihilation of fish and bag !!!

Goldrush:And you Rarfael Benitez

Rarfael:I believe in rotation basis. So I'll get Stevie and Torres to do direct attack. With Benayou and Dirk Kurt to come from no where to inflict the killer blow from the flanks and sometime I may even call upon Xabi Alonso to give his long range pericing shot to do instant damge to fish and bag. This is my 360 degree rotational attack on the housing plastic to ensure total destruction of fish and bag

Goldrush:Hmmmm Gus Hiddnick, you have been awfully quiet. Some pointers please

Gus:Aiyah that's easy.No need Drogba,no need Lampard,no Ballack and no Eissen.I only need Roman and his KGB connection to bring the whole competition down if I know I can't win!

Have a nice weekend

As I am not using any gaseous oxygen for transportation I have to check the validity of the O2 powder

IPB Image

I got myself a control.A fish of reasonable size and filled it up with water(about 5 litres) and added 1/2 g of O2 plus powder .Then I tied it up and allowed to sit for 2 hours.2 hours later the fish was very much alive to ascertain that powder has not expired in any way.

GOOD LUCK hi.gif
