COMPETITION CLASSES:

I) Cat 1 : Top View Ranchus
- Cat A : Junior Tosai (8cm - 10cm)
- Cat B : Tosai (10.1cm - 12cm)
- Cat C : Nisai (12.1cm - 15cm)
- Cat D : Oya (15.1cm and above)
(measured from tip of head to Tail TIP)

Judges: Mr Aos Koban (Thailand), Mr Alvin Lim (Singapore)
-- 5 winners from each category. 1 Grand Champ. Total 21 trophies.


II) Cat 2 : Side View Ranchus*
- Cat A : Ranchus below 3 inch in length
- Cat B : Ranchus above 3 inch in length
(measured from tip of head to tail JOINT)
(please note the "Tail Joint vs Tail Tip" difference)

Judges: Mr Boy (Thailand), Mr Alvin Lim (Singapore)
-- 3 winners from each category. 1 Grand Champ. Total 7 trophies.

*One 2-feet tank will be provided for each SV ranchu.

Registration Venues: Japan Ranchu Palace, Qi Kim Hu, Fins And Palace (betta shop at Farmart Centre), Yuhua CC.
Registration Fee: $20 per entry (no limit to entries per participant)
Benching-In Time: 27 Feb 2005 (7:30am - 9:30am)
From Sean: All ranchus to be submitted at owners' discretion. Fishes will be re-categorised if wrongly submitted.
