seems to be stunted, and the tail shows signs of stress at this picture angle

usually by the size of the eye, if you look up a tosai with an oya you would usually notice a difference between the size of the eyes no matter how big the body is

I believe what the other Frankie meant was how could you tell that the fish was stressed?

well first the pelvic and pectoral fin is somewhat clamped together, second the tail looks like it is curved and third if you look at the top of the tail close enough you can see a bit of damage either from a fish attack or a fungus infection.
