tot both acidic n alkaline conditions r not good for e fish...
tot it should be ok for water to be slightly acidic or alkaline
e.g 6.7-7.3ph
ammonia in acidic conditions also bcomes ammonia ions which r harmless to fishes while it is toxic in alkaline conditions... smile.gif
