profile of back is good.tail is also good and erect.scalation above average, i would say.

QUOTE(Frankie @ Tue, 21 Jun 2005 12:01 am) usually by the size of the eye, if you look up a tosai with an oya you would usually notice a difference between the size of the eyes no matter how big the body is I believe what the other Frankie meant was how could you tell that the fish was stressed? desireless |

QUOTE(desireless @ Mon, 20 Jun 2005 11:05 am) well first the pelvic and pectoral fin is somewhat clamped together, second the tail looks like it is curved and third if you look at the top of the tail close enough you can see a bit of damage either from a fish attack or a fungus infection. |

QUOTE(Frankie @ Wed, 22 Jun 2005 5:23 pm) looks like he just recovered from a parasite attack or bacterial infection, did you recently buy him? you need to watch out because sometimes after a parasite attack the slime coat may be completly shed off which makes him an easier target for more infections. sometimes it's easy to see if your fish is stressed by color, this one is losing the red coloration which means he was having a hard time processing beta carotenes for red, unless there was a diet change |

I hope this would shed some light. The stress saga ought to end here.
Please continue with the assessment of the fish. |
