The colours of your ranchu don't appear intense enough. What filtration system do you use and what do you feed? Tail in first photo above looks rather weak?

i am using sponge filtration system. bought this fish 2 months ago and was brought up in green water in a farm.

Hi,
I hope you don't mind my frank opinion: Nice head, looks square and long. Nice pattern too, although the color is not intense. Tail looks weak and not wide open, the angle looks flat. Thin body and back, thin peduncle. I see redness on gill cover, back and tail. Is this fish in good health? Regards, William |
